When manually uploading a listing to your Residential sales listings department, it's important that you add the relevant Property Usage and Planning details so the listing meets the requirements as set out by National Trading Standards, and appears correctly on site.

To set property usage and planning details:

  1. Log in to ZooplaPro
  2. Click the Manage listings tab
  3. Click Residential sales listings
  4. Click Add listing to add a new listing, or locate and click an existing listing to edit it
  5. Scroll down to the Property Usage and Planning section. This section is required as set out by National Trading Standards, however, information on Accessibility, Restrictions, Rights & Easements and Planning considerations only needs to be included if a property is affected by an issue.
Tick the relevant options for Accessibility, Parking, Restrictions and Rights & Easements
    1. If the appropriate option for the listing isn't shown (even after selecting Show more), click Other and specify the option within the Full description (within the Description section), or as an Additional feature (within the Features section)
  6. Enter any Planning considerations, i.e. information about any known or in progress planning permissions/requirements both at and around the property
  7. Complete the remaining sections and fields if you haven't already, as set out in How to upload a Sales listing. Then, click Save. Your changes will be live on Zoopla within the hour
