Our new onsite solutions are adverts that showcase your development to a large relevant audience on the Zoopla website at the right time.

We now offer 2 streamlined types of onsite advertising solutions; a Templated native creative and/or a Leaderboard creative. Each of these ad creatives (formats) appear within the For sale and New homes listing search results, to help maximise the visibility of your message exactly where engaged users are focusing their attention.

What's included with onsite solutions

The Templated native creative and/or the Leaderboard creative are designed based on the best performing ad formats, and surfaced in our search results, which are the most engaged part of the Zoopla website. 

Templated native creative

The Templated native creative is an ad format that integrates natively* within the For sale and New homes listing search results on our website.

It's an ideal method to promote your development as you progress through the steps of its lifecycle, from when it's coming soon to when you need to sell the remaining few sticky plots.

  • The ad creatives are built and managed in-house by Zoopla to match the look and feel of the Zoopla website, meaning there are no design costs for you
  • The ad matches the look and feel of a listing for higher user engagement thanks to a less disruptive ad experience

Ad requirements

There are important points to consider when deciding how to target your ad:

  1. Determine the applicable Development, the Campaign Duration and Start Date, and the Page Location for the ad (i.e. is it a Fixed Time Campaign, is the ad to be placed on the For sale listing search results page)

  2. Determine how the ad Campaign Targeting will work (i.e. by Region)

  3. Determine your Total spend and number of webpage impressions

  4. In order for us to build your ads to your requirements and get them online quickly, we require certain creative assets to be submitted via a supplied form. These include:
  • A property based image (without text) - 430px x 310px (.jpg, .png, 300kb max)
  • Your logo - 146px x 72px (.jpg, .png, 100kb max)
  • A headline - (max 40 characters)
  • A description (body text) - (max 65 characters)
  • Features (i.e. bullet points) - (max 40 characters) 
  • A call-to-action - (max 35 characters)
  • Redirection URL of your choice
    (If you're redirecting to your own website, we recommend you include tracking)

 Best practice

  • Use a high quality, eye catching property based image that is relevant to your text and call-to-action. We've seen that images of the kitchen receive a higher number of search clicks
  • Add a catchy headline and an engaging call-to-action that is relevant to the ad text. Consider the language you use such as the use of action verbs and think about what you can offer property seekers (i.e. first time buyer incentives)
  • Stand out by using the description and features to differentiate yourself from other developers and their developments by highlighting what makes you unique and showcasing statistics

Leaderboard creative

The Leaderboard creative is designed to complement your native* presence by providing additional brand awareness between For sale and New homes listings search results on our website.

It's an ideal method to promote your brand, key events, launches, or your development, using your existing marketing assets.

You can decide to provide your own designed creative for the Leaderboard or you can pay a one off creative fee for our team to build the creative for you. Let us know when you book which option you'd prefer

  1. Determine the applicable Development, the Campaign Duration and Start Date, and the Page Location for the ad (i.e. is it a Recurring Campaign, is the ad to be placed on the For sale listing search results page)

  2. Determine how the ad Campaign Targeting will work (i.e. by outcode Area/Region)

  3. Determine your Total spend and number of webpage impressions

  4. Determine if you want to use Zoopla's creative service, or if you'll provide your own ad creative.
    Regardless of your selection, your ad is non-templated and uses a design of your choice. We ask that you provide us with, or use, the following recommended content:
  • Leaderboard creative (not native) - 728px x 90px banner
    • An image
    • Your logo
    • A headline
    • A call-to-action
    • Redirection URL of your choice
      (If you're redirecting to your own website, we recommend you include tracking)
