This glossary describes key self-checkout terminology.

A

Area 

This relates to the prefix of the outcode, i.e. SE, N, LU, otherwise known as Postcode Area.

B

Billing Account 

The account in which we send invoices to for your subscription or products, i.e. HSBC.

C

CPC

Cost per click - A purchase method that relates to the number of users that click on your development.

CPL

Cost per lead - A purchase method that relates to the number of users that submit as leads on your development.

F

Fixed Time Campaign

A campaign with a set end date.

I

Incode

The second part of your target postcode which is usually 3 characters, i.e. 8PW, 1AS.

Initial Term

The length of the initial term of your contract.

O

Outcode

The first part of your target postcode which can be between 2-4 characters, i.e. E2, SE26.

P

Purchase order

A purchase order (PO) is a document indicating details about the purchase of goods, such as quantity and costs. Each PO has a unique reference number.

R

Recurring Campaign

A campaign that rolls over month-on-month.

Region

The part of the country you're targeting. This is the broadest type of area you can use for targeting, i.e. Yorkshire and the Humber, West Midlands, Wales, South West England, South East England, Scotland.
